During this explorative workshop, Ralf will examine the origins, effects and anatomy of trauma.
By understanding how early trauma lives on in the body, as if part of us remains frozen in time, we’ll explore how this affects us and those we work with; shining a light on the connection between emotions, tension and physiological issues. On a psychological level, the workshop looks at how early trauma affects our identity and at ways to promote healing on that level.
The weekend will be a profound personal and learning experience designed to facilitate healing.
What to Expect
Over the two days, you will learn trauma healing techniques using a variety of awareness and somatic movement exercises, gaining tools to support nervous system regulation, grounding and integration of stuck energies.
You’ll work together with other students, beginning to develop therapeutic skills such as touch and dialogue in the process of trauma healing.
Who’s it for?
Anyone interested in exploring the concept of trauma in a safe environment. Suitable for complete beginners, and very valuable for teachers, teachers in training and practitioners working in a therapeutic role, including physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
